Kids doing school at HOME and I cant block PORN
OKay your panoramic WIFI is horrible for blocking porn. I enable parental controls but then my kids can NOT access GMAIL which is required for their school and they can not access YOUTUBE which is also required for the vidoes at school.
THis is horrible, I need a solution and fast. Your parent controls *** you cant even tell it to unblock gmail.com it just blocks everything. HOw is anyone using this and letting their kids use it to do school from home ??

The fastest solution is to get a better router. I trust the recommendations of a few Forum contributors.
I'll assume more effective Parental Controls is priority. What's the bandwidth of your plan? How is the wireless coverage in your home? Would you need USB ports on a router to share printers, external drives, etc?

I recommend using OpenDNS - https://www.opendns.com/home-internet-security/ that provides site protection by categories and per domain. Additionally, there's ability to permit/allow specific domains if the domain is blocked by the category. It's pretty simple to setup by changing the name servers at router, or directly on each device. I've personally used for about 5 years.
Caveat - there's a limitation to know is encrypted VPNs can be used to bypass the filters, the kid's playground chatter gets around with methods to beat parental controls. Resolving blocking encrypted VPN takes more effort using a combination of hardware and software.

you can add a wifi card to your pc and crate a network dedicated wifi network fore your children and have full easy control throw a sever in windows block all ip addresses and unblock the ones you know are safe the Card is like $15 and the software depending on what company you get it from should be free. may have adds but you can just minimize the window
