Intermittent Connection Drops
Ever since a scheduled maintenance 4 days ago my connection drops intermittently. It drops every few minutes, sometimes with intervals that last only a few seconds before it drops again. It's essentially unusable, but the technician who came this morning says he can't see any issues with the connection. I made him stand there while I tried to stream a show on Prime so he could see it drop. Once he saw it go out (without any hardware issues inside the house) he said he would have to "put in a ticket". That's fair enough, but in the meantime I'm sitting here with unusable service. What am I supposed to do? Sit here and hope someone somewhere sees my "ticket"? They added a credit to my account that says it will cover my data overage IF it even goes over the limit, which is certainly not possible when the connection doesn't work. I'm already looking into AT&T in my area and I really feel like COX is giving me no choice. I'd love to hear some solutions if anyone out there has had issues like this!

Hello Chris. I'd be happy to assist you, to include checking on the ticket created by your technician. When a tech creates a ticket, that serves as an escalation path in the field. I understand maintaining a reliable connection is important. In order to protect your personal information, please email us at cox.help@cox.com with your full name, complete address and reference this post. Thank you.
