Fax testing number request

Let me know if you get a reply because I'm not getting any replies but it's saying that it was sent successfully and I have included my fax number in the header.  PS: I can send a fax to myself okay I'm confused. 🤔

I just sent a test fax with header to 1-888-473-2963 and I will let you know if I get anything back.

You can't send yourself a fax through your own fax machine. It would be like calling yourself. You need a different number to fax your number. I really suggest finding a fax machine at your local Staples or UPS store.

I'm trying it again because I don't think I put my fax number in the header before.  Do I have to put 11 digits in the fax header or 10 digits?  I've tried both 10 and 11 digits but still no reply 🤔

Will do. Nothing yet. Might want to dial *82 first or make sure your caller ID is showing the correct number. That's assuming * codes still work.

I still haven't heard back from the test fax I sent but I checked my header and I had the area code in parenthesis. I would resend but looks like you have it covered.

Yes try it again because I still can't get a faxback from HP and I have tried about 10 times 

I got a call from Axacore which seems to be connected to the HP fax service as per here, but never sent a fax. Was your fax from them too?

Why did they call you?  The HP faxback service is working again after about 6 days if you want to try it again.

My phone is connected to my fax now so their call went to my fax. Saw the number come up on my Ooma history and googled it. It said "receiving" on the fax machine but I never got a completed fax. Something must have gone wrong. Did you get your test fax back from 1-858-427-3412?

I got my faxbacks from 18884732963.  Where did you get that number from?  Is that also a test fax number?

What do you mean where did I get it from? I already said. They called my fax line. Also, when I googled that number it seems others get a return call from that number when using the test fax. Maybe they tried to call to confirm the number before sending? I had assumed the whole system was automated.
