I have been using cox for the past few months and I'm struggling connecting to AWS services/instances unless I use a VPN and also none of the video calls applications are working . it is a terrible experience .

Hello Vik,

This appears as if you may need someone to look into your account personally. We would definitely be able to assist you with this. Please reach us on Twitter at @CoxHelp, visit us on Facebook, or email us at cox.help@cox.com. Provide us the name on the account with the complete service address with a link to this thread so we can get started. Please keep in mind that we don't support VPNs, but we will definitely investigate the signal you are receiving.

The most widely accepted acronym for AWS is Amazon Web Services.  Highlight AWS and right click.  You should see an Internet search for "AWS" in the menu.

The default search engine you choose doesn't matter.  Search Bing for "AWS" would be the Chrome menu item after highlighting the text and right clicking unless you've enabled a Bing extension that does something different.  The menu verbiage may vary, but most browsers should have a similar feature.

No, you don't need it.  But, if you ever want information for something you read about on a website and want to do your own Internet research to avoid posting another question in the Forum for an answer that could easily be found,

what's aws?

could you do it as easily or as quickly as doing this?

  1. Select the text to be researched.
  2. Right click the selected text.
  3. Left click the search for the selected text in the displayed menu.
