CM3000 showing as CM2500 in equipment page.

I recently purchased a CM3000 device. On the webpage it is displaying as a CM2500.

 DBC-REQ Mismatch Between Calculated Value for P1.6hi Compared to CCAP Provided Value;CM-MAC=***********;CMTS-MAC=*********;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.1;

This is a common error code I receive on the modem, and have frequent issues with my network. I have had multiple techs out to look at the issue, and multiple chats with support to no avail. Is anyone able to assist with what could be causing my issues when all the equipment is new?

I've had the same issue since I moved to my new apartment. Originally,  I brought my Arris SB8200 modem which worked so well that it became boring at my old residence. When I moved to a new apartment and setup service to be enabled, it would not give me a public IPv4 address or a non-local IPv6. I had to schedule time for a tech to come out, and I bought a CM3000 the night before, just in case.

Turns out, that after pleading (no kidding, literally pleading) with the activation tech on the phone to just try to enable it, it worked and passed my firewall a publicly routed IPv4 address. The activation tech kept trying to convince me that it wouldn't work because the modem doesn't support speeds over 500Mbps and I had the 1Gbps plan.... This was, at the time, the top of the line, DOCSIS3.1 modem, and came with a 2.5G WAN port. Not to mention that it was, and still is, on the confirmed compatibility page for speeds up to 2Gbps.

All that to say: it still shows up as a CM2500 under my account, and I've been losing connectivity from the modem to the SP Cisco router almost 5 times a day now. I was planning on calling tomorrow, but saw this and just had to chime in... I also see the same Warnings in the modem logs that you posted, however I also see LogLevel CRITICAL - TIME SYNC FAILL, meaning that I can't get a time slot to send or receive any frames to Cox's router in my apartment complex (or street).

Hi Stankravets. I certainly apologize for the modem issue you are experiencing. I would like to take a look at your modem provisioning to verify what it is provisioned with? If it is a retail modem and flagged as a CM2500, then yes the provisioning would be wrong, and it would not be compatible with the 2Gig services. Please email Cox.Help@cox.com with your full name and complete address. I would like to investigate this issue for you.

This is also my situation with CM3000 with 2 Gig plan. Says CM2500 in app. I have 1gb and 2.5gb hardware but can't get a speed over 200mb.
