Acquire Downstream Channel

it probably doesn't mean a whole lot, but sometimes my acquired doenstream channel is at 381000000 Hz and sometimes it's at
849000000 Hz.

Any Actual difference?

@DLabit29, You have multiple downstream channels and it is normal to have different frequencies for them. -Allan, Cox Support Forums Moderator.

No difference at all. This is just saying what channel the modem happened to find first. Has no influence on performance after the modem is booted.
