X1 coming to Cox?

I heard rumors that X1 was coming to Cox. Anyone have news on this? Also, I found this video breaking the features down.

Yes. The second group of STBs are Contour 2 STBs

Ahh, seems the page is different based on the zip code. By default I am set to RI, but when I changed to CA, I saw what your talking about. Thanks!

Cox, still no word? Even though the equipment is listed in your support database? Do you know more about Contour 2 perhaps?

I got mail from Cox a few days ago exclaiming the virtues of Contour 2, but they said similar about the original Contour.

Try http://www.cox.com/residential/support/tv/article.cox?articleId=8c08f010-611d-11e5-4b90-000000000000

Make sure your location is somewhere around SD.

Tecknowhelp,

We're not aware of any plans to bring this to Cox.

Does "Contour 2" ring a bell?

Thanks. I have read enough articles to be familiar with the product, I was wondering if anyone was a tester or if Cox has any official word.

Yes, I heard it was going to be labeled that. However, I didn't see that mentioned in the link provided. It shows me a listing of Cox receivers. Correct link? Am I missing something?

Yes. The second group of STBs are Contour 2 STBs (note the X... in the model numbers. Those are not model numbers assigned by Pace.)

Tecknowhelp,

Contour 2 is a trial in San Diego which is similar to this but with a Contour platform. We do not have information we can provide you at this time. As soon as it is ready for release we will make the announcement per market.
