Is anyone else getting an error that says content is prohibited from recording by the provider? I have an MCE box with a a Ceton InfiniTV 6 pcie that has been working fine until a month or so ago when I started getting this error on NBC.

Most likely this is an accidental use of the CGMS-D flag being passed by the broadcaster. If that is the case Cox would have no control over the issue. But if Cox has accidentally set the CCI to none, instead of CCI 0x00 Copy Freely, on that channel then that could also be the issue.
Make sure your Ceton firmware is up to date, there have been known issues in the past with certain firmware versions where this issue was a real problem. If the most recent firmware introduced the problem then downgrade to the last known good firmware. Read the release notes on each version of firmware released.
