My HD Weather Channel, #1070, is the regional version, while my regular Weather Channel, #70, is the local version for the Phoenix area. Does anybody know why this has changed. They used to be the same.

Having the exact same problem. Tweeted and called Cox. No one seems to know how to fix this.

When you say you are seeing the regional version on 1070, please be more specific. Are you referring to the Local on the 8's segment or are you seeing something else? I want to report this for you but I need as much detail as you can provide.

Yes, it is teh Weahter on the Eights that I am referring to. It shows the eastern seabord with some cities listed, then the midwest, etc. ON the non-HD version we get the old Weather on the Eights showing the local weather for Sun City and Phoenix.
Thanks

SD 70 is correctly showing local weather. 1070 HD version is showing the default national feed, including the scroll bar on the bottom and Local on the 8's.

The problem with the HD channel has been located and we are working to fix as soon as possible. We will keep everyone updated as soon as the repairs are completed.

I subscribe in Pensacola, Florida and have noticed for several weeks now the same dilemma. The Weather Channel in HD, 1038, shows only the regional weather during its "Local on the Eights" segment and not the true local weather to which I have been accustomed. Conversely, analog Weather Channel (38) carries the true local weather during the "Eights" segments. What's up with that? I want my TWC in HD to show the true "Local on the Eights".

We have not received any other reports of a problem with Weather on the 8's in HD for Pensacola, but we're looking into it. Does it happen on both of your boxes?
