We Want BeIN Sports USA!
BeIN Sports USA is now the exclusive broadcaster of La Liga in the US. La Liga is one of the biggest football leagues in Europe and the home of the world's most popular football teams, Barcelona and Real Madrid. These two teams face off in arguably the best rivalry game, in all of sports, the "El Classico." And yet, BeIN Sports USA is not available on Cox. I have been forced to stream these great teams from sketchy websites, like many of you may have. Cox will likely never add this channel if we fail to show our undying love for this beautiful game and our enduring passion to see it at its best. So if you love football as much as I do and you want to see it performed at the greatest stage, here are a few things you can do to let your voice be heard.
First, reply to this forum. The more replies we have, the more attention we will receive. One of the other BeIN posts have been "solved" and can no longer take replies - one of the reasons I decided to make my own. This is Cox's way of quieting us. Do not let their cheap tactics stop you!
Second, write your own post. What's better than one forum with a lot of replies? Multiple forums with a lot of replies. Your post does not have to be long and drawn out. Write your comment you used on a previous post if you have to. Just keep posting!
Third, contact them directly. BeIN has a lovely website that will send Cox and any other TV provider, a request asking them to add BeIN to your channel lineup. Check it out here: http://www.beinsport.tv/bein-offer

I do not know what phone number we can use to contact Cox yet, but I will certainly let you know via this forum post as soon as I find it.
Fourth, get friends and family involved. Ask them to do all these steps and this cause will grow exponentially. Who knows how big this can become?

While I would truly appreciate a reply, know that that is simply not enough. We must show our support through all forms of communication through forums, emails, phone, Twitter and Facebook. I have been a loyal cox customer for over 14 years. If they do not add Bein sport by the fall, I will be highly considering moving over to one of the satelitte servers. Direct TV, along with the Bein sport, fox soccer, and Gol TV (IN HD!!!) also has all of the Euro League coverage. I really hope Cox comes through and I do not have to switch. In the meantime I go to Bein's website every day and send a email requesting Cox add them to there lineup.

Don't forget to use social media. Cox is surprisingly very responsive to their Facebook and Twitter pages. They responded to my tweets and Facebook posts within a hour.

I have tried everything, emails, calls, hundreds of facebook posts, nothing works with Cox. Unfortunatley, Cox is the cheapest cable co in the country, and will be the last to offer this channel. This is always the case with Cox and new channels. I had to subscribe to RAI intl for the Seria A and use internet for La Liga

Trust me: they always say they will put a request for you when u post something on FB. I have done it many times, and have seen others doing the same. It is like they have a keyboard shortcut with the usual BS: " Have not heard of any plans..,, but I will put in a request for you"

You are absolutely right. Individual efforts are obviously not enough. We need to show a united front. I was thinking of making a Facebook page dedicated to showing our support for this cause. I will let you know when its up. Thanks.

I'm a big f.c. barcelona fan and are considering switching to direct tv. don't really wanna do it but bein sports is the only channel that shows la liga games. cox please get bein sports soon i wouldn't wanna switch after all these years of having my cable through cox

+1 for BeIN. I opted for the sports tier to get Fox Soccer Channel years ago, when they had almost all the European leagues. I want to watch Barcelona, and can't, as it's now on BeIN and Cox doesn't carry it. Consider this one more vote for adding BeIN, Please add it to the sports and info tier.

No, let's create a new "Soccer Pak", and put all of the soccer channels in it. That way, soccer fans can pay for it (BeIn wants $$), while non-soccer fans don't.

I know you are anti adding the soccer channels but I agree with you. Create a soccer pak for soccer fans. Give us a chance to watch those channels. Even Time Warner has already added those channels. I just don't want to deal with the hassle of switching to Dish but sickens me that Cox doesn't even offer his option. I'm more than willing to pay for this option and therefore not raise the bill for other Cox subscribers.

I am beginning to believe that the fact that BeIN Sports has Qatar-based broadcaster Al Jazeera as a majority owner has much to do with Cox's hesitation along with the amount of $$ Al Jazeera wants for the channel. The fact that Time Warner carries it is NOT surprising since they own 50% of the BeIN U.S. channels. Doesn't TWC now have a separate sports tier?

The lack of soccer channels -- and especially in HD -- make me regret stopping DirecTV when I moved. I am thinking I may need to think about switching back if my building allows it.
