Upgraded TIVO, channels not authorized......

Just got a TIVO Roamio for x-mas and set it up with m-card and tuning adapter provided by cox. Most of the channels do not show and have a "channel not authorized" message. Replaced ccard and adapter with new ones from cox. Verified settings and pairing with both cox and TiVo tech support. Diag shows card paired and MTR700 has the 1.40 firmware.  SNR and signal strength all in 90th percentile. Did notice that all the channels I don't get are encrypted (enc) vs the ones I do get are not (Fisk). Any suggestions?

Unplug the USB cable between the TiVo and the Tuning Adapter,
If you receive several more channels, but not all, with the USB unplugged, then the TA is not properly Paired and Authorized.

If you DO NOT receive any additional channels, then the CableCARD is not properly paired.

You have the correct TA firmware  01.40

It sounds like you need to get your CableCARD and Tuning Adapter Re-Paired. It was most likely never properly Paired in the first place. Write down all the numbers and ask Cox to read them back to you.

CableCARD ID __ __ __-__ __ __-__ __ __-__ __ __-__
Host ID __ __ __-__ __ __-__ __ __-__ __ __-__
Data ID __ __ __-__ __ __-__ __ __-__ __

Call the CableCARD number and ask to have everything Re-Paired and Authorized - 1-877-820-8202

To which package(s) are you subscribed?

I had them re-pair the card three times now, all indications are that it is paired. Had them readback all info correctly. From all the research I've done, really leads me to the idea that the channel map is not correctly loading with my permissions. No change to channels with TA disconnected. Have the tech coming out, hopefully he will be receptive to my findings. Would like them to place the card higher in the hierarchy of my equipment, and then re-pair the devices. Hopefully this will push the correct channel data to the card. I know it shouldn't matter, but I think that would "encourage" the system to load my authorizations for the channels I'm missing. You can keep replacing stuff, but until the correct data is loaded onto the card, it won't do jack.

domino: I have the premier package with HBO and showtime added on. Only getting channels 1-27 and a few CSPAN channels in the 100s. The common thread is they are all not encrypted. Some are copywrite protected, but the card decodes those fine. Still leads me back to the channel map not loading the codes for the channels I am authorized.

Resolved, tech did the exact same thing I did yesterday multiple times and it worked. Cheers!
