Unable to send or receive......error message

Hello! A little help needed! This error message keeps coming up on my wife's laptop when checking her email. (Running Windows 10 and Microsoft Live 2012 for her email client.) This is what shows up when she tries to access her email: note....I took out her username and added "username here". Unable to send or receive messages for the Cox (username is here) account. Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Server Response: Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system. Server: 'imap.cox.net' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F Protocol: IMAP Port: 993 Secure(SSL): Yes I've checked all the property settings and they are identical to what I have on my laptop. Sometime she can check for email and it works....other times she gets the above error message. The part about: "Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete" makes no sense to me.??????? Thanks for your assistance in resolving this problem. CWJ

HI CWJ, was the computer recently upgraded to Windows 10? Did this issue occur after upgrading the computer to Windows 10?

Only after I installed Windows 10 did I download and install Windows Live. Before, she was using the Cox webmail. It seemed to be working fine as does mine on my laptop...then she started getting these error messages from time to time....not every time...only every now and then. Makes no sense???

Hi CWJ, are you able to use Web Mail without any problems on the Windows 10 computer?

Sorry I could NOT reply sooner! For some reason I could NOT log onto the support site all day??????????? To answer your question: Cox webmail works fine...just not a fan of the Cox Web Mail experience....hence Live Mail 2012! Today there was no error messages???? Hopefully this was a glitch that got fixed. We'll see and I'll report. Thanks. CWJ
