Tutorial Channell

Is there a way to disable the tutorial channel?  My cable box changes to this channel twice a day.

Why is your "box" changing to this channel? Are you leaving your "box" ON and tuned to a SDV channel for hours and hours when you're not watching TV?

This is what I was thinking was going on as well in which case there wouldn't be a way to change this.  What channel are you leaving the box on?

Usually 1069, the weather Channel.

I do not know why it changes to the tutorial channel.  I have two cable boxes and they both change to the tutorial channel.

I believe that is a switched digital video channel actually.  After approximate 4 hours of inactivity the box will prompt you to push select if you are still viewing the channel.  If no further activity is detected the channel is shut off on our end to conserve network capacity so the box switches to a default channel.
