Trying to get the most out of Cox Ultimate with SB6190

I seem to have hit a wall on my internet upgrade. I've upgraded from the SurfBoard 6141 to the 6190, but I am unsure of what else I have to do in order to obtain the 300/30 speeds advertised. The speeds are identical to the 6141 after contacting tech support to update. My last tech interaction told me that I did not have the right Docsis type for the speeds, but I know that isn't the case. It is a 32 x 8 channel Docsis 3. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
