Trying to figure out this Network Security Key Mismatch on CG3000D modem

Hello.  I recently upgraded my cable modem to the newer Netgear CG3000D modem.  I have everything set up and I get it to work great using my Ethernet cables.  But I want to set up for wireless access which I haven't done before.  when I try to connect to the 'NETGEAR' Wireless Network Connection and enter the security key, I keep getting a network security key mismatch error.  I disconnect the Ethernet cable which I think is correct am looking at the setup page on the Wireless settings and the passcode does match.  Here is an screen print that hopefully can show that they are the same:

Any idea what can be done to figure this issue out or has anyone had a similar problem?   I called the Cox technical support and they told me to talk to netgear people.  When I talked to the NetGear technical support then told I had to talk to my ISP.

Thanks

I would suggest trying a factory reset of the device and see if the key listed on the bottom works for you first.  Should that work we can move on to customizing the device if you prefer.

do I have to send the modem back to the Cox store for the reset, is there an option to do this, or would unplugging and reinstalling everything take care of the factory reset?

There is a small button on the bottom that an be pushed if you have a small pointed object such as a paper clip.  Just hold it for 30 seconds or so for a full reset.

Okay I did a reset of the default setting and held for 30 seconds.  I wasn't sure how to tell if the they were reset so I disconnected everything and restarted.   I am still receiving the mismatch error message.   I don't know if this will help but here is a dump of my ipconfig to show my current setup to see if there is an error in it.

Do I need to disconnect the Ethernet cable from my computer and the back of the cable modem?

If the gateway resets and shows the correct key being used the stored key for that network name is likely the problem on the PC. To reset that you would want to right click the wireless icon down by the time and click open the network sharing center.  Once on that page you will see a link on the far left for manage wireless networks. Opening that you would want to remove the network name for that router from the list. With it clear try reconnecting to the wireless it should prompt you for the key again and see if it accepts it or still comes back with the mismatch error.
