My internet seems to slow down tremendously when the evening comes. Ping can jump above 1k ms sometimes. I've run a tracert:
Also an image of my modem signal levels:
Normally the internet is at 50 Mbps down, however when the internet slows down I get roughly 5Mbps:
I'm not sure if this is an internet congestion problem in my area, or a signal problem. I am also using wireless throughout the house.

You look to get getting severe latency somewhere between your router and Cox. I can't tell if its between router and modem, or modem and Cox. Looks like you have a SB6141, if so, can you bypass the router and connect directly to it and then do another speedtest and tracert? The fact that your seeing 1000ms+ makes me think it's a network issue, because if the modem froze for over a second, it would reboot.
