Speed channel
I was wondering what has happened to the Speed Channel? My family is very big in Monster Jam and it is no longer recording any shows. I went into the guide and the speed channel is gone! Is it normal for Cox to remove channels without informing customers?

The owners of the Speed Channel, Fox Broadcasting, rebranded Speed Channel into Fox Sports 1 on August 17. This change applied to all cable providers nationwide.
We do notify customers of channel changes via bill notices. Since continued carriage of the rebranded Fox networks involved some negotiation, the notice may have been last-minute, but should have arrived no later than the August/September statements.
