smtp server certificate expiration
I am receiving an Outlook error indicating an expired server certificate. Checking the cert, I see that the certificate for smtp.cox.net expired today. Anybody else seeing this or did my connection to Cox get hijacked?

We are having the identical problem with the expired smtp.cox.net certificate. We are located in the Palos Verdes service area.

Yes, I have that as well on my husbands computer as he uses Outlook on his Mac. I use Apple Mail on my Mac, and I am getting a similar indication . Also, for the last few weeks, on both my iPhone and my Mac, I have been getting the response Cannot connect to the outgoing Mail Server for SMTP at smtp.Cox.net. I have been getting this on my Mac for at least 2 weeks and have to keep changing the port between 110 & 995 and then my mail will send. Its VERY annoying. Also, on my phone, which is very annoying. I called Cox, and the tech I got had NO CLUE. I asked to be transferred to the next tier, and I got cut off. I was just tired of being on the phone, so I didn't call back. Ughhhhhh

Hello everyone,
There is a known certificate issue that we are currently working on fixing. We do not have an ETA at this time. I apologize for this inconvenience.
Thanks,
