Slow internet speeds after upgrade

I recently upgraded to the Cox 100 Mbps (Premier) from 50 Mbps (Preferred) in the Tulsa, ok area (74137). I am currently only attaining download speeds of MAX 26 Mbps and upload speeds of MAX 13 Mbps according to OOKLA Speedtest (and other Speedtest) I've tested this via a Macbook Pro hardwired directly to the modem, as well as direct wire to an duo quad core PC. Furthermore, I utilize a personally purchased Netgear CG3000D Docsis 3.0 cable modem. Any suggestions?

That sounds to me like about the maximum speed test result you'd get testing with a wireless-G device.  If that is how you're testing I'd suggest starting by testing with a gigabit Ethernet enabled device wired direct to the modem and see what you get that way.

I'd definitely try those tests again from a wired PC with a gigabit Ethernet port connected to the modem and see what kinds of results you get.  I'm not sure what device you're using there but I suspect it's a wireless-G based on the results you're getting.

The app itself has a max of 50 on the mbps speedometer read....with respect, i dont think the app is too far fetched regarding its read of the mbps. I've also utilized reads from online test through my pc. The PC reads are actually slower than what the premier package has promised along with the reads i recently posted.

The maximum speed of the app will not be factor however the maximum speed of the device may.  You'll need to test using a gigabit Ethernet connection to determine the full capacity of the connection available.

Yes sir, thank you for your help. The reads from my PC and Macbook are a gigabit Ethernet connection. My Macbook specs are as follows: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP621?viewlocale=en_US

Both of my primary comp and secondary pc have a Gigabit ethernet connection as well.

That should work fine, if you could post some results connected that way we can see how they compare and go from there.
