What model modem do you have? If it's a gateway, can you post the signal levels? If it's a modem, can you bypass the router and re-trace?

How to bypass the router and re-trace?

Since it is a gateway, naturally you would not be able to bypass the router part of it.  Another way to test is to use an ethernet cable instead of wireless (if you're not currently hard-wired into the gateway).  Did you have more than one trace route test result?

I do see a signal problem with two of the downstream channels being reported by the modem when I check from here.  We may need to have a technician come back out and troubleshoot further .  If he/she determines that the problem still exists at the tap servicing your residence he/she would then submit a ticket with our maintenance team to troubleshoot further.

Thanks chrisL for identifying the issue. I got a hope from your answer that my issue will resolve soon.

Please send a technician ASAP. I was mainly depend on this internet for my office work.

Can you please elobrate the issue which you said below. So that I can discuss with your technician when he/she visits.

or raise a ticket and explain the issue with line/tap. It will be helpful to the technician to fix the issue.

Because whenever your technician check the connection in my home, the wifi connectivity giving the correct speed. after he leaves, again i am getting the issue in slow connection.

We can schedule the technician for you though not through the forum itself, if you can email us at cox.help@cox.com with the street address and a link to the forum post we go from there.

The downstream signal issues are showing as issues with he channels bonding as well as noise showing on those frequencies which could be caused as something as a simple as a failing spliter or filter, or be something larger further from the home where the ticket would come into play.

We can setup a technician for you.  The soonest day we have available appointments is Wednesday 3/4/15.  Would that work for you?  We have a 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, and a 3pm-5pm slot available for that day.

One thing I notice in the screenshot is Utorrent running. Any different if you disable it?

Yesterday your technician came and checked the signal . He said that there is problem in downstream signal, he is going to raise troubleshoot ticket to network team and network team will come to my apartment and fix the issue in 4hrs. But after that no update. Cox is not caring about the customer satification. I raised this issue on Feb 19. But still the issue is dragging to a month. Still you people are asking me to send technician. I Don't know how to answer this question. in the forum itself one of your cox member said it is because of downstream signal problem. but your technician was not able to fix this issue. NO DOWNLOAD FROM TORRENT NO STREAMING NOTHING HAPPEND AT THE TIME OF SPEEDTEST. Please fix the issue or cancel my conenction. I will go and compalint in my apartment portal.

I was following up on the issue and I see you are scheduled to have someone come back out tomorrow between 5pm - 7pm.  I am sorry you are having so many issues with the connection speed.  Let us know if you still continue to have problems after the tech visit.
