Should I upgrade my Scientific Atlanta 2100 Cable box?
I have the Scientific Atlanta 2100 cable box for my cox tv and was wondering if there is any reason for me to upgrade the box. It seems like it's pretty old but I haven't had any particular problems with it.

Even though the 2100 is a 13 year-old model, if you are experiencing no problems, have no interest in a DVR, and have no interest in HDTV, there really is no big reason to upgrade.

The box you are currently using is perfectly fine to use. As Domino stated, if you aren't having any problems with it, there's no need to upgrade. However, if your TV is an HD TV you're missing out on the picture quality achieved by having a High Definition box.
