Series Recording, control which channel

I have the newest version of countour and there are some things I love and some things that really bug me. One of them is that I can't choose which channel to record shows when doing a series recording, a function I could have easily done in the past. My problem is that I record 2 shows that play on one channel and then another channel and I end up with 2 repeat recordings. They are both considered "new" so I'm not really sure how to find a way around it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
