Hi Scotty,
I'm glad you reached out to us through the Cox Forums! What operating system are you using on your computer? What internet browsers (and version numbers) have you tried?
Be sure that you have removed any previous version of McAfee as well as other security software programs. Start at HERE and follow the steps. At what point during the process do you get the error message?

I am unable to install the security suite as well. I get this message:
Your Mcafee Software cannot continue because either there's a problem with your internet connection (which there isn't) or the Mcafee download server is unavailable.
I keep clicking RETRY over and over again...and nothing happens. Then that page turns white and I cannot click anything.
I pay so much for Internet/TV/Phone that I shouldn't have any problems downloading this.
Any idea's on what I can do to remedy this??

Whats the background of you needing the program? Is this a new PC? Did you get some symptom of a virus? Did your previous AV's subscription run out? Sounds like maybe the old Antivirus is blocking the new one from being downloaded.
Another thing to try is to download the install instead of just running it. When you run a install, it sometimes (depending on your OS) puts it in a temporary folder which doesn't have admin rights, restricting the program from running correctly. Try downloading it onto your desktop and then running it from there.
