I have the free download from Cox on my PC....what about a MAC, does it work on that as well?

Yes, the Cox Security Software is compatible with Mac OS. When you launch the Installer, it will initially scan your computer for potential threats, identify your type of platform and download/install a compatible version of McAfee.
As it says beneath the download button..."Security for PCs and Macs" "Sign in to Cox Internet tools using the computer you want to protect, and we'll make sure you get the right version."
