closed captioning....I have the same problem regarding the "cc" button on the cox remote. It appears this has been an ongoing problem for many years, it just doesn't work and Cox Comm does not give a hoot. So either continue taking their total ignorance to this and do not care attitudes to many other issues OR make a change....other communication companies would be more than happy to have you and I as their customer.

What box and remote do you have? On the Cisco boxes, can't you set CC to a particular profile and just change profiles?

CC works fine with my Cisco 8642HDC/URC-8820 running Contour.

Thanks for reaching out to us via the Cox Forums! We need a bit more information in order to assist you. As Tecknowhelp suggests, we first need the model number of the remote control and the model number of your Cox cable box. Check the back of the remote for its model number. Except for the mini box, the model number for the cable box is usually on the front of the receiver.
