Recording a series

drj1978 - "Presently, the only way I can record a series is to press the record button, while the show is playing.  I have not found any other way to accomplish that.  Am I missing something?"

 Yes.

Would someone who knows how to do that, kindly explain it to me.  Thank you.

Assuming Trio (Contour): Go to guide grid. Highlight program. "SELECT"->RECORD->RECORD SERIES.

Alternatively, you could look in the manual. http://media.cox.com/support/print_media/tv/interface/general/Cox-Trio-Guide.pdf  page 43

.

Thank you for your help, Domino!
