Recommendations feature (green diamond)

Is anyone else having issues with the recommendations that are made? I get shows that are opposite of what we would watch. I get cartoons, PPV, international language items, and other recommendations that are totally off-base! I go through disliking them and suspending the show for 10s of minutes only to get them again and again. 

Do folks have similar experiences?
