RE: Recording one channel with a VCR while watching another on TV with new digital mini box

I did exactly as you said and the VCR will record now but the quality is terrible, even unwatchable, how do I fix that?

@cable hater In order to use your VCR to record with a mini-box you'll need to connect the VCR to the video output of the mini-box and record that signal.  The mini-box would be used to select the channel and the VCR would be set to record via whatever input the mini-box is connected to.
