So I had a technician come out this past Thursday for an issue with low downstream power levels leading to outages. The morning of the visit my power levels were all of a sudden -1 and 0 dBmv, so the technician came, did nothing, and left. Tinfoil hat conspiracy? Maybe...
Afterward, I hooked up my new SB6183 modem (since the modem was a possibility I needed to rule out) and watched the signal stats throughout the day. They dropped back down to weak levels leading to another 20 minute outage this morning.

Since my SNR and upstream power levels are excellent, I don't think this is a line issue. I think it's Cox not supplying enough power. Does anyone know the secret phrase to get them to turn up the juice? I don't have the time or money to keep shelling out $60 for a technician "consultation".

Here's the log from the latest 15 minute outage. Note that it was unable to get a signal from Cox - but upstream and SNR values are good.
The table below contains the log of events that the SB6183 has detected. This log can be important to the service provider to help diagnose and correct problems, if any should occur.
TFTP failed - Request sent - No Response;CM-MAC=6c:ca:08:71:9c:b7;CMTS-MAC=70:ca:9b:a7:92:a0;CM-QOS=1.0;CM-VER=3.0;
