outage in Tempe, Az

Is there an outage in Tempe, Az? Called Cox and they say no outage in my area. I look online and see others posting that they do not have service in the Tempe area.

I am pretty upset right now. I called at 10am yesterday after my Internet service was out for almost 2 hours. The rep on the phone said she saw an outage in my area but it looked to be cleared up. She walked me through the steps to reset my modem and told me to give it time and everything should be working fine in a few hours. I explained to her I work from home and need to make sure everything is working properly by 8pm that night. She assured me it would be. I told her my employer is very strick on compliance for their work at home employees. I could loose my job if I was not able to be logged in and working on time. So I had some things to do and when I returned home around 4pm still no Internet. I called again and spoke to another rep who confirmed again there was an outage in my area and the ETA to be fixed was by 8pm that night. Again I explained I had to work from home and be logged in and working by 8pm that night. She had me again reset my modem and said that would hopefully speed up the process. Still no Internet. A few hours later my husband call and after an hour of him being on the phone, it is now 7pm they find out that our service was accidently disconnected our service at the box. So at 7pm at night there was no way to get a tecnition out to reconnect our service so I could work my shift last night. I could loose my job over this situation. 2 weeks ago we canceled our phone and cable service because it was getting to expensive. So someone didn't read the work order and disconnected all of our services at the box. What upsets me the most is I called in the morning and they couldn't tell me this was the issue so it could have been fixed before I had to work. Then I called later that afternoon and was still not told that was the issue. Then it took my husband being in the phone an hour before they found out that was the issue. Does anyone know how to do their job? I know how to do my job but can't because cox can't do there job.......
