I live in Cantonment, FL and we lost our connection around 8 last night and it's 9 the next morning and we still don't have one. We have unplugged and waited and plugged back in several times with no luck. I would like suggestions or to know if something happened somewhere down the road because of the rain and thunder storms last night.
Thank you for your time,
Stephanie

Do the lights on the modem look normal? Do you have other Cox services and, if so, are they down too? Have you tried calling Cox tech support? They should be able so see if there is an outage in your area or isolated to you then take appropriate action. This is primarily a user to user forum have no insight into Cox's local networks.

No, they are not all lighting up. All we have is Internet through Cox. I haven't called tech support yet, was hoping I would be able to do something myself with a suggestion but I will call them now. Thank you.

If lights, normally on solid, are off or blinking either the cable is out or there is a problem with the signal. Anyway, your modem is not completing the boot process and communicating with the Cox network. Make sure all your cable connections are tight and secure. Other than that, you will need to log a trouble call.
