Missed end of 24 legacy due to super bowl
Recently got a new contour box and was told recording would be automatically adjusted to avoid missing any scheduled recording when something like a football game runs long. So I was frustrated to find that recording ended 15 min before Episode 1 of 24 Legacy finished. Looking ahead in the guide, it is only rebroadcast next Saturday. On Demand shows the same clipped segment, missing the end. Can't you offer the full episode 1 without waiting a week???

who ever told you the recording would be automatically adjusted was wrong no DVR software has that feature

When you set up your recording, keep in mind that sports events frequently run long. When you get to the last screen, instead of accepting the event, click on edit. Where it says "End" you can set the box to continue recording from one minute up to several hours after the normally scheduled time. I recorded 24Legacy seeing that Fox had the game, I set my box to record up to 6 hours late.I watched 24 till it ended, then stopped and deleted it.

I used to do that with Contour. Unfortunately, Contour 2 only allows the addition of 30 minutes to the end of the recording.

I do use this feature. It automatically adds 1 minute before the start of Every recording and 3 minutes to the end of each recording. It helps with the minor show early starts or ending a few seconds at the end. It does not solve the problem as described above.

Thank you for the update. I apologize for any inconvenience. For an event or game, I would recommend programming the recording following the event to avoid losing the last minutes or so following the intended program you want to record.
