Mini Box
So I have 3 tvs and they all have a dvr cable box, I have a tv in the kitchen that I just bought and I want it to get cable channels too. Does the mini box only give you local channels?? or the basic 1-100 cable channels like the older small boxes I used to have in the kids rooms?

What tier of TV service do you have? (Starter, Essential, Economy, Advanced?)
Mini-boxes will get channels within the Starter and Essential lineups, unless you happen to have the Economy package, then the mini-boxes will only get the Starter channels, not Essential. Here's a link to the lineups if you need it:

For HD viewing the mini-box would connect to an available HDMI input on the TV. If you still intend to use the VCR to record programs the mini-box would go between the wall and the VCR and the VCR will need to remain on the same channel that the mini-box is set to output on.
