Mini box
I have cable internet with my own router and economy TV. My TV has an ethernet input. Will I need a cable TV mini box to watch TV or can I just plug my router into the TV ethernet input?

Yes, if you want to use Cox cable. All TVs that want to watch cable need boxes or cable cards.

Cox TV Economy includes one digital receiver. TV Economy includes a variety of channels ranging across video service levels, as well as access to PPV and a handful of networks within the On DEMAND library. Since the mini box is a one-way receiver and cannot be configured for all of these services, the TV Economy channel lineup will not work correctly using a mini box.
In order to have access to the features and channels within TV Economy, an additional Advanced TV HD receiver—rather than a mini box—is necessary. Additional outlets connected to a mini box will only receive channels assigned to the Starter lineup.
