MAC TV CONNECT APP NOT APPEARING IN MAC APP STORE / MAVERICKS

I am currently running Mavericks OSX on my iMac. I went to the web page for COX TV Connect and couldn't find a link that wasn't the app store, used that, nothing. It doesn't show. I don't know if this is a Mavericks issue or not. It is HEAVILY implied that I can use it with my iMac, so why won't this work?

And YES I have checked ALL of the troubleshooting links.

A. An EXE would be for Windows

B. That takes me to a page that says "Double-click the Cox TV Connect icon on your desktop or in your Applications folder to launch Cox TV Connect."

Which, BTW, isn't installed.

Hi Fsinnes,

Cox TV Connect is compatible with Mac® Desktops and Notebooks with the following specifications:

  • OS: Mac OS 10.6 or higher
  • CPU: Intel-based 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo

Try accessing Cox TV Connect for Mac® with the steps below.

  1. Go to http://ww2.cox.com/myconnection/watch/entertainment/tv-connect.cox
  2. Scroll to the bottom where it says "Watch Online" and click "Launch on your PC or Mac"
  3. Click "Download Now"

You will need to use your Cox primary account holder User ID and Password to log in. Please let me know if this works for you!

Your right ofcourse..guess I had a bit too much Eggnog last night.

What I meant is that is the download link. I guess it auto detects OS? Probably from browser info.  Seems the moderator confirmed.

No that didn't work either, I contacted COX via twitter today, and they said my problem is one they haven't seen yet, it has to do with OSX 10.9 and Cox TV Connect.
