Looking for cheap domain hosting alternative

I often help people who have no internet ability (e.g. a plumber friend) set up a very simple web page to help "get their name out there".

GoDaddy has recently changed its policy on free simple hosting with domain name purchase.

Now, I have several domains to relocate. Cost is a concern. We are talking about very low traffic and very low storage needs.
Thanks for any suggestions.
