just upgraded to preferred tier, now only between 5-7mbs up and down.

Question

what am I missing?? when I was on the lower tier, I got a very consistent 5.4 down and 1.1 up.  now after upgrading to the 50m tier, I am only getting between 5-7up and down.  What am I missing? it is a Cisco DPC3825. is there a setting I need to check on my end?? not very happy with this 'upgrade' at the moment.

Hi rhsortho, are you wireless or wired directly into the modem when you are getting these speed results?

it was wireless. did a reboot and wireless then shows 11down/5 up. then hooked up directly with a wire which reports 21/5.
