I have read multiple posts in which ColleenD has helped people with this issue. My Mini Box does not allow me to watch all of my subscribed to channels in the 30-60 ranges. I am not talking about "Premium" channels, but just the standard channels 20-60. I have read posts with people like the user DaveA describing this exact same issue, and then ColleenD posts this:

Are you by chance a TV Economy subscriber? If so, many TV Economy subscribers aren't aware that the TV Essential channels are not included as part of that package and therefore aren't viewable on TVs without a traditional digital converter. You can visit http://www.cox.com/channels to find out more about programming available in your are along with the subscription requirements.

I am an Advanced TV subscriber. These channels used to be available directly over the Coax cable all of the way up until the Mini Box was required.

Same here - Mini box is junk, says there is no signal available for some channels, but of course when I remove the box those particular channels are just fine

We are missing WGN in all TVs plus some upper channels and no TV guide with one TV. We used to get WGN before the mini box. They keep saying they will have to send a tech out. Will this cost? Don't know what a tech can do about one channel.

Which channels are you having a problem with? Have you tried running the channel scan again?

that doesn't seem right to be denied on some tvs the channels that are part of the package!

pattykmn, It is not our intention to deny channels that are in your package. Please email us at cox.help@cox.com with the account information and the channels you are not receiving.

I assume you meant "not" our intention? Hehe. Funny typo.

I have lost channels as well. after installing the mini box I lost channels between 21 and 86. So no more discovery, history, Disney, HGTV, Turner classic movies.... Called tech support and he tried to re-configure my mini box, and had me do another channel scan. No change. Just instantly lost my favorite channels with the mini box.
Tech support told me I needed to get the regular box (can't remember what it's called) for an additional $8.50 per month, or upgrade my package to include more channels.
Long answer, short; send us more money each month and you an watch what you had before the mini box.
This is better? Not for me.
