Is it safe to download free internet explorer 8 from the web.

Hi, I personally would only download software from a trusted site. So for Internent Explorer, which is a Microsoft product, I suggest you download it from the Microsoft website only. Here is a link to the site: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/ . I advise you to be cautiuous when downloading any software and to make backups of your system when appropriate.
