Signed up for Cox internet service this past June and over the past several months we've been experiencing our internet connection dropping randomly throughout every day. It seems to drop like once an hour and usually it will automatically reconnect after about 1 min or so, however, sometimes we will have to completely reboot the modem to regain connection. This happens to both wired and wireless connections. Speeds are great and everything else works fine when we have connection, but having the connection cut out all the time is really becoming a pain. What can I do???

Thank you. Is there a way for me to check my signal levels from home to see if it gets better when using different outlets?

You can visit http://192.168.100.1 to see signal status. I looked again and from here the downstream power levels are showing a bit high actually.

Thanks. I think I've gotten the power levels down to a better range and I've tried different outlets throughout the house but I'm still experiencing the connection completely dropping about once an hour.

While the power levels do look better the modem is still reporting excessive power adjustment counts trying to maintain sync with the signal. It may be necessary at this point for a technician to come out and do some troubleshooting if problems persist.
