Internet Download Speed
I am supposed to be getting 50mbps download speeds and based on your speed test can't seem to get higher than around 18mbps. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, but I changed my network card to a gigabit card and I get the speeds I pay for now. I have premier up to 100mbps. If you have a 10/100 card upgrade it to a gigabit. As long as you have the right modem and gigabit router it may help. I'm now getting at the lowest 72 the highest 130.

fhweller, are you testing wired or wireless? What modem/gateway & router do you have? If wireless, can you test with a wired connection to rule out WiFi as the cause? Thanks.
