Intermittent service drops

Over the past week or so, my internet service has been dropping intermittently, requiring me to power cycle my modem. The only clue I have are the following entries from my modem log (I'm using a Motorola SBG6580 that's about a year old, maybe less):

 Sat Nov 17 18:52:13 2012    Critical (3)   Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - T3 time-out;CM-MAC=[REMOVED]-MAC=[REMOVED]-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;

 Sat Nov 17 18:51:00 2012    Critical (3)   No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
 Sat Nov 17 18:50:29 2012    Critical (3)   No Maintenance Broadcasts for Ranging opportunities received - T2 time-out;CM-MAC=[REMOVED];CMTS-MAC=[REMOVED];CM-QOS=1.0;CM-VER=3.0;

 Sat Nov 17 18:49:27 2012    Critical (3)   Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out;CM-MAC=[REMOVED];CMTS-MAC=[REMOVED];CM-VER=3.0;
 Sat Nov 17 18:48:22 2012    Critical (3)   Unicast Ranging Received Abort Response - Re-initializing MAC;CM-MAC=[REMOVED];CMTS-MAC=[REMOVED]-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;
 Sat Nov 17 18:36:34 2012    Critical (3)   SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing;;CM-MAC=[REMOVED];CMTS-MAC=[REMOVED];CM-QOS=1.0;CM-VER=3.0;

Obviously, the "[REMOVED]" portions were put in by me to mask my MAC addresses; but my log is filled with a combination of these three error sets over the past week or so.

If you could also post the signal levels that may provide useful information.
