Why do I keep getting the message "IMAP SERVER HAS CLOSED DOWN"?

Hi Lensartphoto,

Where are you getting that error message?  Are you doing anything specific?  Which email application are you using?

I am using Outlook. When I open it up to check e-mails, I'll get about 1/2 way through an average of 25 e-mails a day and I get a pop up that says the Imap Server has closed down. Sometimes this freezes up the program and closes it, sometimes it doesn't.

When you relaunch Outlook does the same thing occur? I'll also need to know what operating system is on the PC and if you use any other devices to check email. Are you able to sign in successfully to webmail when outlook fails?
