I have a pop email connection.. do I also have imap?

I have always used my email without outlook and now i have windows 8 and only see a to use the Mail thingy.. on windows but it requires an Imap vice a pop as I have been using... do i have the imap and if so what is it... my pop is like

pop.east.cox.net
