I have a Cisco DPC3825 that Cisco reports as being vulnerable.
I have a Cisco DPC3825 that Cisco reports as having a vulnerability as referenced by their announcement here:
http://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/ciscosa-20140716-cm and as reported by CERT. According to Cisco's announcement, the only place to obtain the fix is through my service provider, which they report they have made available to you. Please advise how to obtain the fix for this vulnerability.

Oh yea, now I remeber. I think Cox said they already updated the firmware back in 2012 to negate that vulnerability. I think it was for a different reason then security, but it had the same effect. Are you seeing any symptoms of it?

I also have the DPC3825 and was wondering about the Firmware version. It is dated Jun 2012. Seems there must be an updated version by now? How do I upgrade my F/W??
