How do I stop my receiver from shutting off after 12 hours?
I watch a lot of the same channel and keep it on for my cat (she gets lonely without human voices in the house). Thing is, my cable box shuts off automatically after 12 hours of no input. How do I make it stop doing that and stay in in perpetuity?

I think there is a power settings menu under "General Settings" on the cable box. From what I read the work around is to turn the auto off to then the timer to 1min. Does this make sense?

1. Make sure "Power-Off" timer is OFF.
2. Make sure "Set-top Power Management" is set to POWER OFF MANUALLY.
