How Do I Get Ports To Stay Open?
I have the Cisco DPC3825 Modem/Router and my NAT type is tuck on Moderate unless I manually go into my settings and change it constantly all the time. There is a certain list of ports I need to stay open to get my NAT to open. I need it set to open because I do a lot of gaming (xbox one and xbox 360). Some of the ports mess up after I open them. I will provide a screenshot.
Please Help! PS Im not great with computers so please make it not confusing. :) I circled the ones that stay messed up with black paint.
I called both cox and xbox and they told me I had to do it myself that they couldn't help me.

What additional ports are your trying to forward ... what should be in the black circles? Reason I ask is you seam to have everything forwarded that is on the xbox list of required ports except 80. 80 is blocked by Cox for input anyway so it is only an outbound port.
Do you have a static ip assigned to your xbox? Is that the same ip that you have blacked out under Internal IP Address? If you are not using a static ip, the ip of your xbox could change and you will be forwarding to the wrong device.
If you are still having problems, you can try using the DMZ. That would put your xbox directly on the net, not requiring port forwarding but still requires a static ip. The drawback is your unit sits right on the net with no firewall in-between.

I notice the enable box isn't checked for the empty port range. Could this be why it's not saving?
Also, when you say it's not saving, do you mean the ports input you put in goes blank, or its still there and just doesn't work?

What I meant by it's not saving is that my nat problem doesn't stay fixed I have to go into my router settings and just click save changes and then my nat will open up for a few hours(days)

Not trying to get additional ports open just the ones in the picture. I tried to get a static ip assigned but it didn't seem to save either. How does the dmz work? And is it safe? Would you. Recommend I do that?

Either way, port forwarding or DMZ, you need to assign a static IP to your xbox. Both the port forwarding and DMZ screens require you to enter the ip of the gaming device and if it changes the router can no longer find your unit. To set a static IP: from the router's Setup/LanSetup tab click on "Pre-assigned DHCP IP Addresses". Enter the xbox's MAC address and the IP to be assigned. Click "Add Static IP" I would also click "Save Settings" from the Lan Setup screen to be sure. Reboot the xbox to assign the new address. If all is working, your xbox should have the IP entered above. Put that IP into the port forwarding or DMZ screen.
DMZ puts the IP address entered on the DMZ screen directly on the internet, all ports the device has open are open directly to the net. Do I recommend it ... only as a last resort. The xbox has a very limited number of ports open so the risk is minimal ... but. Caution is always advised.
