How do I change my wifi password?
I don't know where the paper I had it written on is....Can I change it to something easily remembered?

Yes, you can change it to any 8-26 character password. Sounds like maybe your using the older WEP security with the hard to remember keys. What model router do you have?

First log into the router by going to the 192.168.0.1 webpage. Leave the username and password blank, and just click login.
Then click on "Wireless" along the top, and "Wireless Security" below it. Finally, type in your new password next to where it says "Pre-shared key" and click save settings.

Do I have to hard wire my computer to the router for that?

I don't think so. As long as your connected and online through the router, it should work. Just make sure your connected to YOUR Wifi and not a neighbors, but that is unlikely. For more info see page 32-33 and 45-48 of the manual.
