HD signal cutting off

Could you give more detail on the problem please? Like what do you mean when you say "cutting off". Black screen, message, snow, etc. Also, what do you do to fix it?

Signal pauses, pixelization and freezes at times.

When playing live tv it works fine, most of the problem is playing dvr.

I switched HDMI cables thinking it may be that and no luck. I even tried a different TV and still the same problem

I am getting very frustrated

Sounds like the hard drive is starting to fail. Does the box reboot itself sometimes too? I say swap it out just to be safe.
