Getting wallet penetrated by Cox

I selected a pkg to sample the Advanced TV Super Mix 49.00 mo trial escalating to 75.00(est) after 3-6 months. Since our basic starter pkg was 70.00 est I figured we might as well check out another 150+ channels for a few months before the reaming resumes. We saw the (double your internet speed for 5.00) offer, so I had that added as well. We have been paying 75.00 for the basic/essential pkg for over 15 years now and it looked like a chance to check out the additional line-up without having to pay extra (at least for a few months) We did have to get a new box for our second set but even with the extra 9.00 it wasn going to cost anymore than our current bill (for a few months). Wrong!!!!! They moved us to the new retail rate 134.00 immediately. When I talked to the rep. I get told - What special offer? Prove it.Like I've got some scheme to create a pkg that doesnt exist. Does anyone else have a **** story and/or how did you deal with it?  Thanks
